Overview:
Lawrence Industries Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations at our industrial metal heat treating facility located in the southeast part of Hastings.
Lawrence Industries provides metal heat treating services for other manufacturers. We do not manufacture products. Customer parts are received treated to specification and returned to the customer. This position plays a critical role in keeping equipment facilities and systems operating safely and efficiently.
Pay and Compensation
Hourly pay of $40 per hour
Full time position with a standard 40 hour work week
Approximate base annual pay of $83,200

Estimated Total Compensation
Approximately $89,000 to $103,600 annually including company paid employee health insurance
Job Responsibilities
Perform general facility and equipment maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Conduct preventive maintenance on industrial furnaces and supporting equipment
Assist with boiler operation maintenance and monitoring
Identify and correct equipment issues to minimize downtime
Maintain a safe organized and efficient work environment
Support production operations as needed
Qualifications
Industrial or maintenance experience preferred
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Boiler experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attendance reliability and work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

Schedule:
Monday through Friday; 6:00AM – 2:30PM, occasional weekend support as needed for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance
